When I moved to Texas in 2018 I wasn’t sure I would bring my business with me. I was new in town and didn’t know anyone other than my son and his wife (which is what brought me to New Braunfels). It seemed insurmountable to start from scratch with no network in place.
But you know how it is with those things in life that you become passionate about. They call to you. They are persistent. They find a way to open doors for you and put you in the right place at the right time. I am very passionate about my craft which is helping people prepare for their path to wealth.
Stepping out of my comfort zone in 2019, I attended a Boss Babes networking event just to see what might happen. There were eight women at that meeting. While they were all lovely, I ended up making solid, lasting connections with four of those women. Out of just those four relationships, many other connections started happening. The connections are still being made from those first four friends. And, so, my business of educating people in New Braunfels was launched.
In that short time, I have grown from a team of 1 to a team of 3 and am in the process of expanding my territory into Kyle and Buda.
People often ask me what I actually do.
My official title with Five Rings Financial is Agency Vice President. The short and sweet answer to the question is that I am a Financial Educator. But the true answer is much more complex than that.
I am a creative visionary who likes to help people live lives they never thought were possible. I am a “connector” who not only connects people to abundant financial futures, but I also cherish connecting people with each other within the community.
My passion is to sit down with people and have a meaningful conversation (or two or twenty) to find out about their dreams and aspirations. Then, I help them create a road map to bring those dreams into reality. I usually start the conversation by asking “If you could have anything, what would it be?”
Roadmap to wealth involves education.
I feel strongly about educating the middle class. So many people believe that investing in the future is only for the wealthy. It is simply not true. I teach path to wealth concepts and solutions that drastically change the way you retire. Often we can accomplish this with as little as $100 a month!
Roadmap to wealth involves relationships.
Above all else, I value purposeful relationships and authenticity. Serving people when operating from a place of giving changes the dynamic. It allows me to stay authentic. So my goal is not about selling. My goal is to build relationships and educate women and families about growing and protecting wealth. I essentially teach people what they could have learned in school (if schools taught finance).
Roadmap to wealth involves planning.
What I teach is more than just roadmap to wealth and retirement. Another one of my goals is to educate my community on living benefits so that they can get much-needed money in their hands if they were to suffer a terminal, chronic, or critical illness.
There are so many things out there to help people make smart choices with their money. It is my goal to educate as many people as possible and help them develop their roadmap to wealth.
In addition to empowering people through financial education, I love animals, spending time with my family, yoga, and paddleboarding. I absolutely love living in the Texas Hill Country and am endlessly grateful for all of the wonderful connections I have made here and on my facebook page.
